Day 22 | 365

Well, today got away from me, so no low light photo :p

After lunch, I was picking up some packing materials. B picked up this strand and ran away from me, knowing I was going to pick it up next. I must have chased her back and forth across the house about 50x’s. Oh the giggles…so many giggles!! It was the highlight of my day ❤

Side note: I think her lips are extra red because she’s been getting into my purse and using my lip gloss a lot lately. She’s actually pretty good at applying it! 🙂2015-365Jan22-1 2015-365Jan22-2

Day 21 | 365

Living in the woods is so awesome. This morning there was fog everywhere and as it was lifting. the sun was peeking through here and there. With the fog came a bit of rain, so everything was sparkling with drops of water. I wish I could fully capture it’s beauty, but this shot will have to do for today:) Note, this is unedited. It was so pretty. Normally everything looks dreary this time of year, but those dead leaves turn a beautiful copper color and the tree trunks have a bright green moss on them when things get a little wet and the sun works it’s magic. ❤2015-365Jan21-2

These two…they’re just so adorable together. I can’t wait for Peanut to be older and able to play and be crazy with the rest of us. B loves to play in the “cave” (a.k.a. under the covers:). Wednesday Low Light shot:) 2015-365Jan21-1

Day 20 | 365

Typically, I am still putting Peanut to sleep, so Dada gets the good toddler snuggles. Tonight, I put Peanut down long enough to snap these pics and read her one book before lil man was beckoning me again:p The only light was that little table light, so definitely still a low light situation. Just not quite as low as the last two days. Love my little family:)

P.S. Don’t mind the scribbles on her bed…she got a hold of her bath crayons and decided to make a “beautiful picture” for me. She finds a way to be so sweet, even when she’s really being a turd…

Day 19 | 365

Pretty grainy, but I’m happy with them:) Someday I’ll get a full frame camera (*insert teenager-in-love daydreaming look on my face*). Which do you prefer: color or b&w?

Day 18 | 365

Today, I just wasn’t paying attention. I didn’t take a pic during the day. I SHOULD have taken a photo of Peanut crawling since he’s officially mobile and crawling everywhere now (last night I paid for this developmental gem with my sleep *insert sleepy emoji*). I have had the idea for this picture stored away for a little while, so once it was dark, I chose to try it out.

We now live out the in woods and have flood light on our house. One night, while figuring out what all of our switches did, we found the switch to the flood lights, and I saw this MAGIC in the corner of the master bedroom. So tonight, with a little bribery (orange Tic-Tacs are toddler crack apparently), I convinced my daughter to look for “reindeer” for a second (literally, one second…she is a very busy girl). This is what I got. I love it. It’s not exactly a candid moment, but I’m practicing and haven’t shot in this type of low light before. I pretty much got the exposure I wanted SOOC (straight out of camera), so I’m happy with a first try! Had a little trouble with focus due to the darkness, but I’ll figure it out:) I think this week I’ll make the theme “low light”….so here you go:)
