I just want to take a minute and say that I am loving this project. I love that I GET to pick up my camera everyday. Today was no exception. It was “warm” here today, and we got out to the playground around 10am this morning (note, 10 am it was not “warm”…it was windy and cold). Took my camera along and I am in love with these pictures of daddy/daughter love. So special. (Yes, I realize several of these are basically the same photo, but I couldn’t choose, so you get them all…ha!)
This last photo wraps things up with the rosy cheeks and nose<3 Hope you all enjoyed your day as well!

Here’s a little macro-ish pic of some of B’s painting fun this morning. I love the textures she creates when she just smears this thick finger paint around, and this wasn’t even the paper for her artwork. This was the paper plate that had the globs of each color on it. ❤
We’re on the front end of a warm up!! Woohoo sunshine (insert happy dance)!! Tomorrow we’ll be headed to the park, but for today, we are galloping on our deck. Because horsey jammies=horsey gallops:D

She may be the scariest doctor he’ll ever see. She likes to “check his ears, check his eyes, find out how much he’s grown. Listen to his heartbeat, fix him up ready to go” (and give daily shots, like any good big sister). Yup, B is recently OBSESSED with Doc McStuffins (for those of you that don’t know about Doc, those were some sweet lyrics to her theme song:). She already had the little classic Fisher Price doctors kit, but I bought her a $10 real stethoscope so she could actually hear heartbeats. It is now her favorite thing on the planet. I love encouraging her to explore new worlds<3

First off, I have to give a BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY MOMMY!! 🙂 She’s a pretty fabulous woman (my personal favorite in this world), but she lives entirely too far away, so no pictures of her:( We miss you and love you Nana!
Ok, today that old saying, “If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em”, came to mind. Peanut decided he would be a short napper today, and B decided she just didn’t want a nap at all. For the first time ever. So we partied instead of napping. B honestly was so good. It was me holding her back from giving up that nap. I’m sure it will be off and on here for a while, but it’s the beginning of the end of a era…sigh. 
Silver lining: both kids were awake while it was still light out:) I’m so ready for summer when the sun doesn’t set until bedtime! Here’s B watching some birdies in some pretty light<3
